What's the difference between a Standard and a Deluxe tent?


-Our Standard tent is 8'x9' with a center height of 4'6 and sleeps up to 2 people on either a double mattress or 2 singles.

-The Deluxe tent is 10'x12' with a center height of 6'7 and can accommodate up to 3 singles or 1 queen air mattress.

Do I need to bring my own bedding?

-Yes, we provide the air mattress, you will need to bring a sleeping bag and pillow.

Is the chair and towel service provided when I rent a tent?

-Yes, the Camptel Package includes air mattress, chair and clean towel daily. Your chair and towel will be with your tent, we bring it to you!

I am using my own tent, but I registered for the chair and towel service , where do I pick
them up?

-Each day when you arrive in camp, stop by the Camptel Tent to pickup your clean towel and chair, then just drop the towel in the dirty bin when your done. In the morning (or at night if you prefer) return the chair to the Camptel Tent and we'll have it for you at the next location.

Can I put my bike in my tent?

-No, bikes can damage tents and air mattresses, therefore we do not permit them in the tent or vestibule area.

How do I find my tent?

-On registration day come over to the Camptel Tent (it will be well marked and easy to spot), and we will assign you a tent. The tents are all numbered, so when you ride into camp each day you will know which tent is yours.

Can I request to have my tent next to someone else using your service?

-Absolutely, we have a spot on our registration form to fill in the name of the person you would like to be next to. If you have already registered, just send us a message on the contact page and we will arrange it for you.

Is someone available if I have a problem with my tent or air mattress at night?


-We have staff on site 24 hours a day to help meet your needs.

What happens with my luggage?

- Your bags get transported on the luggage trucks provided by the tour. We have carts available in camp for you to use in getting your luggage to the trucks each day. You are responsible for loading your own luggage.

What do I need to do in the morning?

-Just simply take your personal belongings out of the tent, and let us break down your camp! Your tent with air mattress, chair and clean towel will be waiting for you at our next over night location.

What is your cancellation policy?

-If you need to cancel, please call 315-283-0220. We respond to all emails, so if you sent a cancellation via email and did not receive a confirmation, we did NOT receive your cancellation. Please see registration page for information on refunds.

Where do I register for your service?

-To register for comfy campers service, just go the to Tour Info/Reservations page; then pick the bicycle tour and choose your camping package from the drop down menu. Follow the checkout process from there.
